Refining Vectors for Redbubble

After opening my Redbubble shop, I revisited some of my older vector illustrations to make them work better as standalone t-shirt graphics. This meant rethinking how each piece would sit on fabric rather than a full artboard.

Creating a Logo from AI

If there is one thing AI images consistently fail at it’s text… well maybe fingers too, but those have gotten a little better from what I’ve seen! I was pretty surprised when my friend showed me a logo he had been generating for his business. I saw it and really liked the direction so I offered to clean it up for him and produce a vector version. The entire process has really made me think though about the inspiration that […]

One Creepy Sugar Skull

Not sure if I’ll ever get this one quite right so figured I’d put it up here for now until I have some better ideas on how to improve it or take it further. (Maybe a new color scheme? I’ve tried a few) The general idea was to create a Mimikyu from Pokemon, but to turn it into a sugar skull. This was all taken from an illustration I had created back in college. While I thought the drawing had […]

Game Website

I’ve added a new page for my fan game that I’ve been working on including a download link for the game. The link for it is available here. There is over 30 hours of content including all 8 gym leaders and an Elite Four like you would normally encounter. I am super excited to launch the game and was really happy to be able to launch it to a huge audience thanks to a raid on twitch. Hoping I can […]

Old Photo Edits

I was recently asked by my dad to take a look at some photos he had scanned from the 70s. Inspired by Instagram posts that make it look easy I decided to give it a try. Haha. I tried to be pretty systematic about and didn’t really want to have to spend time recreating parts of photos that didn’t exist. (At the very least time-consuming for me and I wasn’t even sure if I could.) Overall though I think the […]

iRacing Skins

A few of my friends are really into VR iRacing. To help with their clan identity and because I thought the design challenge was interesting I decided to help produce some logos for them to share along with skins for the cars that they most regularly race with. Creating the vehicle skins was definitely the most unusual/challenging part of all this. Since I don’t have the VR iRacing software I ended up using photoshop to open/edit these files. It was […]

Animating Illustrations

Lots of gifs on this page may cause some loading issues, but I’ve taken some of my illustrations that I completed over the last couple months and turned them into animations. While some of the movement was probably unnecessary it was a lot of fun combining the different compositions in after effects to finally recreate the original illustration with some added movement. Stamp I really like how this one turned out with the rotating sun beams in the background. If […]

2019 In Review

2019 has been an incredible year and easily one of my best for graphic and web design. I feel like I became truly comfortable with all of my Adobe tools and have really moved towards creating more “professional” content. I think my understanding of spacing and various styles has become more refined. 2019 is probably the first year where I have generated so much content I’m happy with that I actually have trouble picking the things I want to showcase […]
