Forced Perspective – Castle

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Started with me wanting to build a castle, then I mixed it with my desire to build a Forced Perspective Creation. I think everything went really well here. View the Full Gallery. The new Kingdoms Dragon Faction figures are by far my favorite Castle figures ever developed by the LEGO Company. Hoping to do more completely minifigure scale vignettes/dioramas later. Go green and gold! View the Full Gallery.

Interior Design – LEGO

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) These are images and sets created shortly after BrickWorld 2010. Safe to say I picked up a lot of new and creative ideas at this event. I’ve always been a fan of architecture. I think it shows a little here. Heavy inspiration from this and John. Now let’s see if we can beat the last one.

Mecha Racing

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) My Mecha Racer feature here went on to be nominated for Best Mecha at BrickWorld 2010. Beating the brutally massacred, long dead, zombiefied, horse… otherwise known as Mecha Racing. I still <3 it. View the Full Gallery. Dubbed the second. I looked back on my older model a while back and decided I needed to put some new effort into the theme even if it has gone out. Tyler’s Group

BrickWorld 2010

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) A collection of photos from my trip to BrickWorld 2010 in Chicago, IL. I always have a great time at BrickWorld and this year I built a series of smaller detailed creations to occupy my layout space. Scroll to the bottom to see better photos of the MOCs I brought with me. I managed to fill two tables and I was mostly pleased with everything I brought. I’ll have better photos up later. […]

LEGO Gundam

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Don’t worry I went on to learn possible too much about Gundam too. I don’t know much about Gundam or Mecha for that matter, but after Hazel posted photos of this I knew I had to at least try building it. Over all I’m happy with the result. Not much change from the original WIPs although there are a few slight differences. I plan on continuing to change it up until it goes […]

Smoking Gun

An entry into THAC VII (Twenty-Four Hour Animation Contest 7). I really focused on the visual look of the film. The sets and animation and because of only focusing on the sets the story fell apart. This is well it may have looked better with no voice acting, but this is what I finished with in 24 hours. The theme was unexpected.

How I Edit

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This is by no means the best solution for this problem. I’ve decided to repost it as a way of maintaining a record of my projects and for any users newer to photo manipulation programs. This method is quick and probably the easiest way for newbies. Welcome to this tutorial where I welcome you to try what some might call unorthodox way of editing photos, but for the most part I find it […]

Trains, Trains, TRAINS?!

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) A couple of trains I built, post-BrickWorld 2009, over the summer. My first attempt at Trains. Please be gentle. An custom steam engine named after the owner NewRight. (A little narcissistic I know) I’m not sure what I was going for with this model. It definitely looks like a steam engine aside from the lack of larger wheels, but that can be fixed later. I may just like the landscape around the train […]
