Back in June when I attended BrickWorld 2018 and showcased my newest creation called “Battle” I did an interview with Beyond the Brick to go over my work and describe some of the decisions I made as I was going through constructing the tower. You can view the entire interview on YouTube, but wanted to have a spot for it somewhere on my site as well. You can watch the interview I did with Beyond the Brick here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQ6aFSWsH_M

Imperial Castle

As pirates approach Imperial waters the army responds with a large ship of their own as they prepare for the battle to ensue… Built over the course of roughly a year (although most came together in the last 2 months) this creation debuted at BrickWorld 2018! The event went great and this took home Best Individual Layout under the name ‘Battle’. The event itself was awesome and I want to say thank you to all the event staff as well […]

BrickWorld 2018

Here is my gallery dump of photos I took while at BrickWorld 2018 in Chicago, IL. I took one display with me, titled Battle!, and it ended up winning Best Individual Layout. I spent over a year preparing for the event so I’m really glad it went so well. Looking forward to going next year and hanging out with everybody again! These photos are primarily of cool techniques I saw being used at the event with some of my own […]

LEGO Starfighter

I don’t really have much of a backstory at the moment, but the main goal I had was to create a jet-esque spacecraft. That led to all the streamlined goodies and finally I felt a need to do a massive engine array. No particular reason, but I know I wanted it haha. Anyway this is the first thing I’ve built in well over a year so hopefully it doesn’t look like I’m to rusty. Not sure when I’ll build again, […]

BrickFair 2014

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This post is a gallery dump of all of my photos taken at BrickFair 2014 which took place in Washington D.C. This year I mainly focused on my group collaboration display with the BroLUG team. This year we built a space port with apocalyptic tones. The display went on to win Best Collaborative Layout and was featured on D.C. local news during the show. Shout out to Simon (www.flickr.com/photos/si-mocs/) for the much better […]

Aqua Cubes

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This project is a continuation of my previous cube. The goal here was to expand the length, width, and height of the existing cube. The square-footage was extended with water recycled from the aquapocalypse collaboration. Additionally, I tried to work-in a new mecha I was working on and creations from the World in Conflict series.

Cyberpocalypse

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This cube was built off the frame originally developed by Forest King. All collaborators used the original cube layout then modified it to their like. At BrickFair 2013 all of the cubes everyone had built were stacked together to create a series of skyscrapers with post-apocalyptic huts attached to them. The post below was featured on the the Brothers-Brick. And here are all of the work in progress shots that went along with […]

Junk Mecha

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) I actually had this idea back during the MAK Contest if you can think back to then. Try and have that mindset when you look at this I guess. Hopefully going to be doing some more building in the near future and hopefully more prolifically, but we’ll see.

Castle Crasher?!

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) I’ve had these pictures sitting on a USB of mine for a while. Been meaning to upload this forever because I could have sworn this was a time when one-wheeled racers were a fad. This was probably my take on it whenever that was. Anyway more actually new new stuff will be coming soonish I hope.
