Introducing Dark Theme

Dark Theme I’ve been working on some website enhancements over the last few weeks with some ideas I’ve had for the past year or so including a brand new theme for my portfolio website! While it isn’t necessarily common for a portfolio website to sport multiple themes it’s a concept I’ve been having to think about more and more professionally so I love getting to try out ideas that wouldn’t make it into a product like that. There are some […]

Midjourney and AI

With all the AI hysteria I decided it was about time I gave it a try myself. My initial experiments with ChatGPT left me extremely impressed with the new tool. Definitely saw some opportunities to have it write copy for me. Planning to leverage that more in the future for sure! In addition to that I also payed the $10/month to Midjourney to try generating some images with the same power I witnessed behind ChatGPT. It was a fun exercise […]

2021 Web Updates

Quick post about some updates I’ve made this time around. I definitely recommend checking out the initial post where I started work on this iteration of my portfolio website. It’s been a little while so it felt appropriate to go for a small update at the very least. I was mostly trying to tighten some things up like switching to a 2-column layout for the portfolio to make it a little easier to scan the content. The main change unfortunately […]

Game Website

I’ve added a new page for my fan game that I’ve been working on including a download link for the game. The link for it is available here. There is over 30 hours of content including all 8 gym leaders and an Elite Four like you would normally encounter. I am super excited to launch the game and was really happy to be able to launch it to a huge audience thanks to a raid on twitch. Hoping I can […]

My Video Game

For over 3 years and 1000 hours I have worked on a Pokemon Fan Game using RPGMakerXP. This game is built in RPGMaker using a custom built package known as Pokemon Essentials which includes the majority of scripts necessary. Super thankful to its creators since I don’t know any Ruby! Now this post isn’t here to officially release the game, but provide a major update for anyone interested and to provide key links moving forward as the game moves into […]

Moving & Posters

I did it! I moved out of my parents place! As of a few days ago I am a renter in the Cleveland, OH area. My apartment has really tall ceilings and plenty of room for framed posters so I took some of my old designs for the Avengers Playing Cards and turned them into some large printable posters. Feel free to download and print for yourself! I personally had them printed at 24″ x 36″, but I’m sure you […]

2019 In Review

2019 has been an incredible year and easily one of my best for graphic and web design. I feel like I became truly comfortable with all of my Adobe tools and have really moved towards creating more “professional” content. I think my understanding of spacing and various styles has become more refined. 2019 is probably the first year where I have generated so much content I’m happy with that I actually have trouble picking the things I want to showcase […]

Featured on Beyond the Brick

Back in June when I attended BrickWorld 2018 and showcased my newest creation called “Battle” I did an interview with Beyond the Brick to go over my work and describe some of the decisions I made as I was going through constructing the tower. You can view the entire interview on YouTube, but wanted to have a spot for it somewhere on my site as well. You can watch the interview I did with Beyond the Brick here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQ6aFSWsH_M
