Congregation Meeting Logo

A logo I designed for the Sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph for their 2018 event. The brief was to create a logo using a mobius strip of some sort. All the language had been discussed before hand and was up to me to work into the strip. I ended up using a ribbon style and the end result looked great on the projector and print banner. The colors had also been decided early on, but the proportion of […]

Edutainment Gaming

Edutainment Gaming was a group project for my Communication class at OSU. The assignment was to utilize digital technologies to improve the processes of an important task. Team members had researched the benefits of using video games as an interactive teaching tool. From there we collaborated on lessons plans and which video games would most accurately portray that time period. My task for the project mostly focuses around creating any and all necessary graphics for the project. Additionally, I was […]

Product Design

These prototype desk/drawer unit was constructed as part of my final to Design 1100. This class could also be seen as my intro to design. I used to conflate design and art together, however through this class and the readings assigned to us I have realized how art and design vary. While being creative can play a role in a design more often it is based on the requirements of users. Designers can use their creativity to meet the needs […]

Barney’s Body Shop

This was our final project for Design 1100 at Ohio State. This was a group project where our goal was to redesign a local business website. We went through developing and testing wireframes, tested color themes, and did usability tests. This information was then summarized and presented in a 20-minutes presentation to the class. I was responsible for all the graphic portions of the project along with the UX portions. I created the logo and mockups for the project. These […]

Design 1100

Here are some additional designs I created for my Design 1100 class at Ohio State. The class offered introductory principles of design and foundations for web design. In the class we learned to better use Adobe Photoshop. Additionally, we briefly covered HTML/CSS. The brief here was to create a logo. I decided to create a moc-design company that this logo would represent. The goal for this project was to create an advertisement. I decided to do Mountain Dew, since I […]

Wolf of Wall Street

This was a project for my first graphic design class at Ohio State. Our class was experimenting with typography and I decided to turn my project into a poster since posters typically have a large reliance on type. I wanted the characters to represent the elements of the titles. I tried to use a font representative of an animal while I added pin stripes to the Wall Street text to represent the banking in the film.

Self-Portrait

This was one of my first graphic design projects once I started design classes at Ohio State. The goal here was simply to find a creative way to create a dynamic and interesting about image. While my style leans more heavily towards minimalism, with this I tried to create something that would evoke excitement. I also thought the eye would follow the variety of lines that lead towards the main feature of the image, myself. The background shows the Cleveland […]

ICAN Schools Logo

I spent the summer of my Sophomore year at OSU interning at ICAN Schools, a charter school system based out of Maple Heights, OH. I was hired to help run social media and to do any graphics that were required while I was working there. I had several smaller projects, however my main task was to create a new logo for a school that was set to open in the fall. The school mascot was an eagle so that gave […]
