Digital Art Class

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) I really like how this turned out. Probably one of my favorite graphics that I have design yet. It also gives me a good idea for a new project I’ll start later. Something went wrong with the sizing on this. I know the orientation of the stripes isn’t equal with the colored stripes to the background. That was actually intentional. Something else went wrong though and I’m not sure what. Not really sure […]

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This project was designed to expand on my experience photographing animals after photographing my sleepy dog, Maggie. View that post here: http://zackmilenius.com/blog/2010/05/07/maggie/ This may sound obvious, but photographing a sleepy dog is much, much easier than photographing animals used to being outside and moving around constantly. Took a trip to the zoo yesterday. It was a little cold and I felt a little bad for all the animals, but they made great photography […]

LEGO Gundam

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Don’t worry I went on to learn possible too much about Gundam too. I don’t know much about Gundam or Mecha for that matter, but after Hazel posted photos of this I knew I had to at least try building it. Over all I’m happy with the result. Not much change from the original WIPs although there are a few slight differences. I plan on continuing to change it up until it goes […]

Phone Camera =(

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Taken with my cell phone, so yeah, bad quality. Despite that I think these are worth posting especially if I plan to recreate similar shots with better equipment or for anyone else seeking inspiration or royalty free photos.

New Nikon!

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) These photos were taken after I had gotten a brand new Nikon L110 for Christmas that year. More testing with my Nikon. Shot through my window at full zoom. More shots through my window. Especially happy with how these turned out though. I feel like I’m slowly getting more control over my Nikon. Or in this case street and car lights. More testing with my Nikon.

Trains, Trains, TRAINS?!

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) A couple of trains I built, post-BrickWorld 2009, over the summer. My first attempt at Trains. Please be gentle. An custom steam engine named after the owner NewRight. (A little narcissistic I know) I’m not sure what I was going for with this model. It definitely looks like a steam engine aside from the lack of larger wheels, but that can be fixed later. I may just like the landscape around the train […]

Nuclear Winter & a Teacup

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Very much inspired by Legohaulic’s. I just felt that it needed to be human sized. I felt his was little small. I decided to make it a little larger. I’ve wanted to do Post-Apoc for a while, but I wasn’t exactly sure how to go about doing it. I’m hoping I have the right idea for it. The center piece of this creation is the light up flame and it is also the […]
