Pirate Vignettes

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Run awaaaaaay! A quick tablescrap I built yesterday in about two hours. Just a quick thing to make use of my Pirates of the Caribbean parts some more. (Love them) and because I’m growing a little tired of building my castle display for BrickFair. Despite all the new heads LEGO has come out with =0 remains my favorite. It also ended up looking a lot like a Chibi version of this. So that […]

Vic Viper

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) A long over due VV that I actually had built sometime near the end of Novvember, but I just never got around to photographing it… until now that is. Although I’m still not happy with the photography (I’ll probably redo it later) I hope you enjoy what you see for now. Hopefully I can get around to building some more and even rephotographing this. Anyway hope you guys enjoy!

Odds n Ends

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) I told you I had something LEGO planned! And more to come, but this just seemed like one of the easiest to photograph. A nice small little outdoor cafe. (In case you don’t read the tags). A really really really old MOC. I just haven’t had a lot of time to build recently so lately I’ve been digging into my hard drive and seeing what I could come up with. This is what […]

Digital Art 3

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This was created for my Graphic Design 3 class while in high school. The job of this was to use letters from a word to create the object that was being described by that word. The other projects are small odds n ends from the class. More fun in photoshop. Well more like classwork, but I really liked how this panda-guy turned out. Munch, munch, munch… um… Of more to come, just me […]

Auto-Rickshaw

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Otherwise known as the Tuk-Tuk. Idea from Kevin, but then built in my own style with Taxi colors. See Kevin’s here. Feels good to be building with LEGO again.

Pirate Cottage

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) …ready…set…FIRE! Quickly built for the MOCOlympics Pirates set fire to the Mayor of the township, but surprise as the appear to greet them. Funnily enough I wanted to try something for the spring category but building for the fire category just made so much more sense. Based on the cottage from the iPod app TradeNations.

Building a Castle

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This tower was on display at BrickFair 2011 in Washington D.C. It makes use of a cottage I had built a few months prior. Finally, I have pictures of my Dragon Tower. My Dragon Knights needed their own tower. This was shown and built for BrickFair 2011 where it sat on the castle table. Changed a few things from BrickFair though since it fell apart. Luckily I was able to quickly rebuild it. […]

BrickFair 2011

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This is a gallery of photos that I took at BrickFair 2011 in Washington D.C. Post Aquapocalypse The Aquapocalypse disply from BrickFair 2011 coordinated by Carter. A bunch of much macro-y shots. Built after BrickFair closed on Saturday then taken back on Sunday and photographed. Using only parts I had bought/traded for at BrickFair. Has a nice rustic look in the building behind it.

Castle Cottage

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) Using new parts from BrickWorld. The top half of the building is from my Pirate display at BrickWorld.Everything else was done a in a day. Yay new castle parts for my dragon knights! A well for the BrickFair project that won’t be making it. Mostly because the design isn’t to perfect and I don’t have a lot of room for. The castle will make it but not the well. Along with two tablescrap […]

Prohibition Paradise

This is a relic post. (Content pre-blog) This collaborative display went on to be nominated for Best Youth Creation at BrickWorld 2011. A collaboration project between myself, Tim, Peter, Ricky, Alex, Kevin, Ignacio, Robby, and Nate. The original project was headed by Ricky and Alex, but then as the project seemed to progress it was mostly put into Tim’s lap. Most of the buildings are by Peter, Kevin, and Tim, but there are buildings by everyone else. I had a […]
