A one-page website designed to host my friend’s photography and video content. I’ve always been a big fan of one-page websites, particularly how quickly they come together so I was more than happy to oblige when my friend said he needed help.
Having designed and re-designed my own website on several occasions I have a level of familiarity in designing portfolio sites. I’ve even dabbled in creating a one-page layout for myself back when I had less content I wanted to share. I didn’t initially propose a one-page layout, however considering he focuses more on video projects that have longer production times he had a smaller set of works to share the one-page layout made the most sense.
dditionally, I did some branding for my friend by creating a logo to represent his brand. He has done wedding videography and has a larger body of photography work as well so I tried to tie it all into the site. The colors originally started as a way to represent the three teams of Cleveland (Browns: Orange, Indians: Blue, Cavs: Gold) however as the design came together slightly more saturated versions of those colors were used to better contrast with the dark navbar.
