Intro to Drawing

All of these images were created for my Intro to Drawing class I took during second semester of my freshman year at Ohio State. The class was also known as Drawing 1100. In the class we experimented with a variety of drawing techniques and mediums. We practiced various types of shading like the cross-hatching shown above and we practiced with mediums ranging from pencil sketches to full charcoal pieces.

I found charcoal to be especially difficult to work with however the shading you can achieve with that medium is unmatched in my opinion. Anywhere here are some of the other drawings I completed for class.
