Creating a Logo from AI

If there is one thing AI images consistently fail at it’s text… well maybe fingers too, but those have gotten a little better from what I’ve seen! I was pretty surprised when my friend showed me a logo he had been generating for his business. I saw it and really liked the direction so I offered to clean it up for him and produce a vector version. The entire process has really made me think though about the inspiration that could come from AI in order to create entirely new pieces. Although I’m sure vector AI tools aren’t far off if not already in existence.

I mostly stayed true to what he had created just cleaning up the text to match his name and trying to reduce the number of colors a little bit if he is going to be regularly printing this. I also cleaned up the bottom border a bit to more faithfully represent his home region of Ohio.

To take things further I think the colors could be even further simplified for smaller sizes and a black and white version could be produced.
