One Creepy Sugar Skull

Not sure if I’ll ever get this one quite right so figured I’d put it up here for now until I have some better ideas on how to improve it or take it further. (Maybe a new color scheme? I’ve tried a few)

The general idea was to create a Mimikyu from Pokemon, but to turn it into a sugar skull. This was all taken from an illustration I had created back in college. While I thought the drawing had turned out really well I don’t know if it has fully translated to the digital version.

One part I am really happy with is the curly pattern that goes all around the tail and arm of this creature. Definitely hoping I can find an excuse to use those again somewhere fitting.
