My Video Game
For over 3 years and 1000 hours I have worked on a Pokemon Fan Game using RPGMakerXP. This game is built in RPGMaker using a custom built package known as Pokemon Essentials which includes the majority of scripts necessary. Super thankful to its creators since I don’t know any Ruby!
Now this post isn’t here to officially release the game, but provide a major update for anyone interested and to provide key links moving forward as the game moves into a Alpha/Beta testing stage. The game has been playable for over a year, but didn’t include many of the key features that are necessary for a Pokemon game like items and other overworld events. In the last year I have done more than just update text though, we saw the release of another Pokemon game and over 100 new Pokemon. Thanks to spriters on Smogon I have been able to include all these new Pokemon despite the new art style being radically different from the GBA graphics I have decided to use.
Beta
The beta is set to be released here by Jan. 1 2021 and will include a fully playable game through the Pokemon League. I plan on having the beta sit for 1-3 months while providing regular bug fixes. During the beta period though I will work through the remaining post-game content in order to give the game a proper launch. Continue reading for other ways to stay up to date on the beta.

If the two above aren’t enough then I even started to produce a Wiki with a walkthough and a bunch of documentation on all the different maps in the game.
