I love creating logos and icons in Adobe Illustrator as it often comes with the challenge of a unique brief allowing me to experiment with colors and design techniques. Logos are meant to be unique from one another so designing one is the perfect opportunity to create something unique that will stand out in a crowded marketplace.
Logo Challenges
The majority of logos displayed here are quick sketches/ideas although some have been used to represent companies or brands at events. I like participating in weekly logo design challenges as the briefs provide interesting information about a fictional company. I will often create a logo and then begin mapping out different UI solutions for that company. The UI provide awesome opportunities to showcase the logo as well!
Professional Content
The professional logos I have completed often involved many many rounds of revisions and including briefs with clearly defined colors to stay on a pre-existing brand. I enjoy challenges like this and trying to incorporate all of a brands colors into a logo.
